The existing deck / screen porch system at this property was failing and leaking water into the screen porch area below. A complete overhaul was required and came out better than imagined. We constructed a new waterproof decking system with access off the 2nd level. Azek brand decking boards and Intex composite railings were used to replace the old rotten pressure treated system. Down below we stained all the wood framing of the screened in porch and installed a spruce wood panel ceiling system with recessed lighting throughout. Finally we designed a custom clean out system on the bottom framing of the screened in porch to keep the porch area screen tight and bug - free; yet still allow for hinged access cleanout doors to powerwash after the summer crab feasts!
